MIDLIFE & ADHD CONVERGENCE
The Masala Blend
A community where women blend MidLife challenges, ADHD, and hard-earned expertise into a bold next chapter.
For many women in midlife, the world may suddenly feel louder, heavier, and more chaotic. If you have ADHD, whether you’ve known for decades or are just starting to put the pieces together, this season of life can feel unrelenting.
At With Sonder, we see you. You are not "forgetful" or "overwhelmed"; you are navigating a perfect storm of three major life transitions: .
The Physical Shift: Perimenopause isn't just about hot flashes. The drop in estrogen significantly exacerbates ADHD symptoms, making previously managed habits feel impossible. We help you design systems and structures in your life that withstand the estrogen crash.
The Caregiving Squeeze: You are likely in the "sandwich generation," supporting growing children while simultaneously navigating the emotional and logistical weight of caring for aging parents. We help you set boundaries to protect your energy.
The Workplace Ceiling: In your professional life, you may face the dual pressure of midlife ageism and the "masking" required to survive in workplace structures not built for neurodivergent success. We help you unmask and leverage your unique strengths.
You’ve spent years taking care of everyone else. It’s time to take the reins and blend these ingredients into a life that actually takes care of you.
This affinity learning circle is open for professionals who identify as women in their midlife. This 8-week program includes 8 weekly synchronous group sessions, asynchronous pre-recorded lessons, reflective work and resources in the “Spiced Synapse Guidebook: A manual for steeping time, heat, and raw experience into your most flavorful chapter yet”, and access to a private community of high-achieving peers.
ADHD in midlife is isolating. Sonder Circles are curated, small-group cohorts where the "mask" comes off, and an intentional redesign of how you manage life begins. Over 8 sessions, you will join women who “get it” and together we’ll build a powerful toolkit centered on:
Collective Intelligence: A shared space to unpack how hormones, neurodivergence, and the complex demands of midlife are shaping your energy, focus, and the way you show up every day.
Integrated Design: Methods for bringing together your physical, emotional, and professional lives in such a way that each pulses with purpose and powers the others.
Lifelong Community: Sustained connection with your cohort long after the final session.
Our inaugural Cohort will meet on Fridays, September 18-November 6, 12:00-1:00pm EST.

Your Guide: Shyla Rao, EdD, ACC
My mom always told me to “Make my life.” I don’t just coach women with ADHD; I help women design the conditions in their lives where they can thrive – to MAKE their lives exactly how they want it to be. I help women design a reality for themselves that is connected, joyful, and successful in the ways that have meaning for them.
Officially diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 49, I understand the “what ifs” of a late-in-life diagnosis. More importantly, I know the transformative power of finally designing my life with, rather than against, my own brain.
I bring a fun-loving and empathetic practice, grounded in academic rigor, to our work together:
Doctorate in Education: Expert in how we learn, ways to lead, and strategies for supporting the growth of individuals with a blend of compassion and accountability.
International Coaching Federation Accredited (ACC): Trained to the highest international standards, ensuring your growth is grounded in professional excellence.
Strategic Conflict Resolution: Specialized in restorative practices and conflict resolution to help you navigate complex personal and professional landscapes with confidence and compassion.
Let’s move from "holding it together" to being the agent of your own design.
